Administrative Advocacy

PAR works closely with multiple state agencies to influence proposed policies, regulations, bulletins, and Waivers to create a person-centered, viable, simplified, and quality service system that betters the lives of people with intellectual disability and/or autism. By gathering comments from members, developing recommendations in our Committees and Workgroups, and regularly communicating our members’ priorities with administration officials, PAR advocates on behalf of providers and makes sure their voices are heard.
